You don't necessarily have to, pre-build computers are good as well as long as they have good specifications.

RAM stands for Random Access Memory, it's basically how well your computer can run certain programs. 4GB ram is alright, not the best out there, though. I used to have a laptop with 4GB RAM and I clearly saw the difference when I got a 6GB RAM desktop computer.

i suggest you use it soley for internet and school, try not to clog it up

i just spent 60 bucks on a new fan+heatsink for my lappy.
it was a worthwhile repair only once lol. laptops are sketchy about $
gotta know when to fold em ; ;

My phone and my $200 laptop runs Windows 7 just fine.
And my laptop can play source games pretty well too. Ofcourse it will.
