Somebody who is so damn desperate and a LOT of time could take weeks putting in random letter and number combinations and finally get one.

It    would    take    thousands    of   lifetimes     to    get     one    number    if     you're   extremely    lucky.

All multiple, spammy attempts would be noticed and blocked anyway.

Your key does NOT get deactivated. Why everyone thinks it gets deactivated...

If you use the key in one place, Then someone else uses it in a place like out of a country when the other person using it isnt online you can get your key deactivated because its being used in multiple different locations.
