So I was in the hallway a couple days ago (I think Thursday). So one guy walks up to someone minding their own business and punches him. A teacher saw that and gave the guy who punched and the VICTIM a detention.

What are they trying to attempt by punishing the victim?

Discuss crap that goes on in school.

The teacher might believe that the victim started the scene.

It has always been like that. They can't prove the victim did not instigate the attacker so everyone gets forgeted over

Yeah to throw the victim in detention with out even hearing their side of the story is stupid. That's just punishment by association.

They're basically saying that you can't defend yourself. Guy punches you in the face and you can't do anything. You both(or one of you) get suspended.
