Author Topic: Would making Blockland support 64bit.....  (Read 429 times)

Im not trying to suggest or ask if Badspot could make Blockland 64bit because I know this has been proposed before and has not yet happened. I want to know if these certain things in Blockland would get fixed or be faster if it did support 64bit.

1. Loading times in a server (Like downloading the files and datablocks)
2. Loading/Saving bricks solo/online
3. Allow more memory to servers instead of 1.67gb
4. Would Badspot have to re-code or just slightly update some things or Blockland for 64bit?
5. Physics or amount of events, lights, and emitters maximum.
6. Brick limit (does the brick limit have to do with 32 and 64bit?)

(I know 64bit wont happen anytime soon, with the Lighting update and all, I just want these questions resolved because they've been on my mind for a while).

Let's just see how Blockland supports shadows first.

Well thanks for your help...I guess....

badspot basically said it wouldn't be a bad idea to look into it in the future.

not sure what the exact words were though
