Author Topic: DJ Build (Inspired by Daft Punk)  (Read 580 times)

Pretty self explanatory. A stage made for DJ-ing. This is based off the Daft Punk pyramid during their 2007 Alive tour.

On to the pictures:

If your not staying for the show, feel free to kick back in the bar. It includes a free Deadmau5 helmet! :D

Oh yes there's more than just lights. There are fireworks! And with even more lights!

I'm going to make this server a weekend only thing. Expect this every weekend. Another note: when you join my server, MAKE SURE TO  DOWNLOAD THE MUSIC BECAUSE I HAVE CUSTOM LOOPS.

Anyways, ENJOY!!

Doesn't look that great. Colors don't match well with the theme (nighttime = cool, yellow/red = warm) and the amount of different colors make it clash too much. The print brick speakers dont look good either.

The bar needs a lot of work, it retains very little of the glow bricks theme. For instance, the tables and stools need more glow, and a less generic design.

Something that I was once working on can help clarify exactly what I am talking about.

If you can see, the theme stays consistent, with only one or two different colors and then working with shades of it. Glow is also prominent everywhere, and the lights and effects arent bunched up into a small space. Speakers are not visible; however, they don't have to be due to the nature of how they can be place in real life. The latticework and central DJ also isn't a generic structure; rather something that would not work for anything else other than a nighttime outdoor DJ setup.

If you allow rating, i'd say 3/10 right now. It does look like you put in effort, but it needs a lot of work.

Not trying to discourage you. Keep building ;)
