... some dialog box popped up when I opened Blockland after changing the settings, I was typing this post during it and hit a button, it closed and I have no idea what I did ...


Holy crap. Forget everything I said about textures, my graphics card was in energy-save mode and everything was set to minimum. Wtf. It looks so great now...

This has been posted multiple times before.  Why is this in Help?

However, a texture is still a texture and white lines are still visible even after AA is turned on.  You can have the best of both worlds and have both texture replacements and AA on.  According to Badspot's post in the shaders topic white lines will no longer be an issue, though -- now we have "specular highlights."

and yes I ended up using custom textures since I liked them more (yours, actually!) alongside AA

There's nothing wrong with white lines. People use the white lines as a form of brick texture.
