A mod would be somewhat more practical than a VCE evented build for these reasons:
- As already, said above, people know how to use addons, but not VCE
- VCE eventing is easy to break, only applies to a single build unless you copy replica bricks over to another save, and takes considerably longer to save than a scripted file would
- You can't have GUIs in VCE, or at least not the kind that would be really useful for Tycoons.
It's be cool if someone did an RCII thing where you could have someone building the rides and such, and players an bots are the ones rating stuff and stuff.
Oh god the magnitude of that project.
That would require the "anyone" to be either an automated relay system, or a guy with a duplicator/wrench making new coasters out of bricks. Actually, the ratio of events to bricks would probably be something like 10425:1, so it'd be truly amazing, but would be like trying to reinvent gravity.
