Actually I counted the lines. Around 30% of the song has MLP references but only if you are familiar with the show.

I think it's funny how upset people get over the whole MLP thing. It's not that big of a deal. A good 99% of the megathread content (mainly just random pics) stays in the megathread. The other 1% that's leaked is usually because the thing is cool on it's own (like this song).
Many of the MLP songs reference the non-mainstream parts of the show, in which case you can only tell that it's MLP related due to the title or a couple of words.
This song is a perfect example. The thing that tips it off as an MLP song is that it's a remix of a Eurobeat Brony song, the revealing part being the original artist's name. The only other thing that could be seen as a more "mainstream" reference would be title of the song (Luna) and it's subsequent appearance where the name is mentioned ONE time (check the video description if you don't believe me). If you were not thinking of the show, it could be easily mistaken as a reference to the moon, or some woman's name/nickname. Even the song in the OP makes mainly veiled references that you'd never catch if the line "20% cooler" wasn't such a mainstream part of MLP. And even then, it's a phrase that is becoming so mainstream that I see non-bronies use it and not know the origin. Moreover, MLP isn't the sole reference of the song, there are plenty of other, more pronounced references such as Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Cold War conspiracy, as well as a possible Pokemon reference. However, the majority of the song is just about clubbing.
Honestly, they're just songs. It's just a fandom. It's the internet. Be happy that at least the majority does get posted in the megathread and get over yourselves.
