Author Topic: Datablock Limits?  (Read 917 times)

When i spawned in my server something popped up about Datablock Limits, and it said some of my addons may not be loaded....How do i fix this Datablock Limits thing? i've tried deleteing some addons i don't need. Please help.

Disable some add-ons you don't need (scripts and events don't count for this), maybe use a colourset with less colours, possibly remove some maps.

the datablock limit is 4096 datablocks, so you have quite a few add-ons

Does music count to, becasue i tried to listen to some music and there was no music it only said, "NONE"

yes, music counts.

i don't think maps count, and you don't have to delete them, only disable.

You can't disable maps

That should be added, somehow.
The server doesn't load maps besides the map you're currently on.

Pretty sure they are still added to the datablock total that is calculated right as you start a server.

If you have a lot of maps, and that adds to the total datablocks calculated, is it possible that it will lag the server even though you're only using one map?

The only datablocks will be loaded are the ones that are in the one map you loaded.

Which is always none.

No and it doesn't add to the datablocks.

Yes, and having no music on the server is an instant indicator that you've exceeded the limit. Music loads last and does use datablocks.

I suggest disabling a bunch of weapons and vehicles, they use the most datablocks.
