If I do anything but a family RP, no one joins.

Those people would had just joined your server, spawned an item or vehicle and left.

I have all that stuff disabled so if they want an item they can leave and join another person's server because I don't tolerate that stuff.

I just perma-ban them as soon as they complain.

Next step would be to password every server and only invite the smart people.

Also, you can just password your server, make a topic on the forums, and put the password in the topic. That way, if they're going to join your server, they'll need the password. Chances are they'll find the password after reading the topic and learning what to do.

I've thought about that, but my server is very basic. make pretty buildings and look at other pretty buildings.

I might make a topic if I change the theme every week.

Doesn't matter if it's basic, at least you can filter out some of the problem-causers. I find that most people who browse the forums are more informed.

When literally one person came to my Tremor boss battle server, I changed the server name to family RP.
I got about two or three more people.

Heh, maybe before people join a sever the host should set up a quiz for them, and if they fail, they either get banned or kicked. =3
But try to make the quiz decently hard...
