Well, if you read his tiny ingame text, he claims that its a "Feature".

Also, if you look at the textures that closely at that size, they probably will look like they're zoomed in. I won't assume that it's real, but I won't jump to the conclusion that it's fake either.

Actually, the stud is still good quality up close.

Besides, his video lacks shadows. Even on lowest setting we would see a shadow blob made by that noob that was jumping around. This tells me he was on a brick, prolly a base print plate with a custom texture.
