Author Topic: Sony vegas video issues  (Read 521 times)

Well I wanted to make a video with Sony Vegas in Blockland, everything went ok up to the rendering. At first it stayed at 0% and the estimated time just kept rising exponentially. Finally I restarted the computer and copy/pasted the video into a new project. Then it rendered ok, but when I watched the video it was blinking constantly, and was very very choppy. I'm assuming I did something wrong as far as rendering goes, but I have no idea what. Any suggestions?

Did you use a lot of effects in the video? What render settings did you have? Elaborate, please.

It was around 1.5 minutes long, and the only effects I used were a couple of fades from one clip to another, and a title at the end. I had music throughout the video, but nothing else. I don't think it's the video though, now it won't render new projects either, unless it's pure audio.
I've found that this problem is all throughout the internet. The only difference is that their solutions don't work for me.. lol
But I ended up just remaking it in wlmm, the only real difference between the WLMM version and the SV version is that I couldn't add a letterbox effect to hide the "Fraps.com" :/
