R.I.P Bedroom - Memory's that any player can never have again, memory's of children play on the soft carpet of the bedroom.

R.I.P Kitchen - These memory's are left mistaken and with no proper memory.. why? Because people were cooking not building.

R.I.P 'Life of Blockland' - Terrain's where fugly to be honest, but they were used for certain thing's RPG's and stuff, Interior's where perfect for fun thing's to build while be comforted by your area..

This all will be missed and missed it shall. ;(

The carpet wasn't that soft, people died of they fell from a high enough distance

Badspot and Kompresser, I have a very simple question for you: Is this update really necessary? Like really! The best version was probably V12 or V15 (according to people [I started playing since V16])! We now can't see as far as before and now you guys are making Blockland worse? If you do that update, BLOCKLAND WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AND YOU WILL REGRET IT! People will stop playing Blockland, you guys won't make any money anymore, and Blockland becomes even gayer than Roblox and Minecraft! It's KA-BOOM to Blockland! It's giving it a death sentence for no reason to Blockland! Why can't we keep it the way it is? Is this really necessary? What will this bring to you? Plz Badspot and Kompresser, reply to me and everybody else, tell Blocklanders why you must do this update!

Your friend,

A.W.C.

I find it funny how a lot of people still do not understand one simple concept:

The statement

"They are getting rid of interiors and terrain

solely because they can put in shadows and shaders"

Is just stupid.

We are NOT losing terrain and interiors simply because Badspot and Kompressor want to have some fancy little shadows being casted across some bricks. It is part of a major update that will ease the development of further updates. What are these "further updates", you ask? Funnily enough, the shadows and shaders are actually one of them.

And who knows what else they have in mind when it comes. Precipitation that collides with bricks? Improved vehicle physics? Anti-aliasing? An increased brick limit? Who knows, you can't be too short-sighted with things like this. You're only looking at what will happen 10 minutes after releasing v21, instead you should be looking at what will happen in 10 months. Maybe after this blows over, they'll bring in a new and improved terrain and interior system that will be much more up-to-date.

By the way, I think that Badspot and Kompressor have a clear idea on what they're doing here. They're not dumb twits who think it'll be fun destroying The Slopes and Bedroom. I can bet that they had to consider the effects and concequences of applying an update like this to Blockland.

That is all.

blah blah blah

interiors and terrain are going

they are ugly, hard to work with, and just get in the way of many future updates to come.
its not just shadows and shaders.
forgetnuts.

No way are they going to lose any business or money over this update.  New membesr won't even know what terrain is, and the prettier Blockland that doesn't look like an old 90s game will attract more new users.  When someone sees some indie game with crappy 90s graphics they graze right past it.
