I later did a huge overclock on it myself though so I don't feel completely moronic 

edit: ok maybe not 'huge' .. went from 772MHz to 880MHz clock speed

Also are you insane? I'd expect your computer would have burst into flames by now, those cards already have a lot of freakin' power as it is. Are you designing a household atom bomb or something? What cooling system do you have?
