
This is a new project I'm working on. Currently, it's in the beta stage, being tested by a few friends of mine. This doesn't belong in Gallery, because this is more of a discussion topic.
The PremiseThis is a TDM series. Currently, it'll be worked on in maps like Bedroom or Kitchen, but come the next version where the terrain and interiors will be removed, everything will be custom made. It is one of the few TDMs that will made to be 'bouncy.' Inside the arenas, there will be ramps set up, to use the ramp-jump glitch for high speeds.
Also, the OP will be edited conforming to anyone who volunteers to test.
The first one, which will be referred to as dimension11.beta, is in the Bedroom. It is a Red vs Blue premise, and will have a custom-made arena with a very futuristic style. Come pictures to show, this will be a gallery topic. After all, you put pictures in galleries.
The Purpose I feel that TDMs have gotten too slow. Dogfights will eventually die due to the map changes coming the next version. This will be using existing physics to speed up the game. Due to it's fast nature, most of the weapons will be splash-damaged based, with a few (possibly?) hitscan weapons to finish them off.
(Sidenote: The hitscan/raycast weapons will be very weak, if they'll be there at all. The AoE weapons will be much more powerful, albeit having projectiles. The raycast weapons are to be simply finish-off weapons, to use on slowed, almost dead targets damaged by the AoEs.)
Adding in a fast TDM will sort of kick-start things again, allowing for much more fun experience when shooting blockheads to tiny plastic bits.

EDIT: I have been working on this very hard, and it should be active by summer break. Currently, the building style is still somewhat trivial as to if it'll be done that way. Images will be up by next week.
