vectors will always be much more helpful for this, but if you have a nice image i'm sure that will work. vector images are great if you want to put your logo on everything from mugs to shirts and posters to folders.

Edit: I can work in both large resolutions and vector, I have the entire adobe suit. I don't have a set art style either, I'm pretty much 'not bad' at anything.

I've printed several T-shirts before and I can tell you it doesn't make that much a difference, as long as the size is good and rez is high. It's a little different if you're talking about those cheap ass 'heat sticker prints' you use on clothes, though.

I know how to vector but I'm not anywhere NEAR as experienced with vectoring as I am with general graphic design. In other words, I'm really good with Photoshop, but I'm "meh" with Illustrator.
