Author Topic: Program for flipping videos 90 degrees?  (Read 672 times)

I've never been to good with computers so maybe you guys can help me out. As some of you who I ride ATVs often with my friends. I decided in my free time to make a video of all the footage and pictures I've taken. So far it seems good but I'm running into the problem that some clips I want to use are turned 90 degrees the wrong way. Like I said, I've never really worked with videos before so if their is a simple fix let me know.

But are their any successful ways to flip video clips so I can turn them the right way? The program I'm using to make the video is AVS Video Editor.

Can we see the video when it's fixed?

i think you can fix it with Windows Movie Maker (god forbid)

Yeah I've tried that but once it's rotated since WMM fixed it it no longer allows me to upload it to AVS.

Sure, it may take some time though since it isn't finished but I'll post it when its done.

Really? What the hell?
I imagine someone here has a more decent program than WMM to do it.

virtualdub could do this.

Turn the camera sideways when you import the videos.

I don't know what AVS is, but you probably just saved it in the wrong format. There are movie maker files, which you probably saved it as and you can export to several actual video files. Look up how to export to whatever file type you want.

Diyou film it upside down?
