Author Topic: How to clear bricks, FASTER!  (Read 522 times)

I was messing around today, loading up a ton of saves until I reached the brick limit. When I pressed the Clear all bricks button I wondered if the command /brickcount would still count the bricks while they were being deleted, I tried it and INSTANTLY every single brick was cleared.

Try typing /brickcount in the chat after you hit clear all bricks. (I tried this in single player)
I am guessing its a glitch or something....I dont understand why deleting the bricks take so long normally now.

are you sure most of the bricks were being cleared and the clear went faster? lol

The command sends after the bricks are cleared, like it's in a queue.

For whatever reason, looping through every brick and deleting each one doesn't delete all the bricks in one run.

So it has to run it more than once on a loop until none are left.

that's why it normally takes so long

and /brickCount i'm pretty sure just says $Server::BrickCount

so saying that doing /brickCount makes clearing bricks faster doesn't make sense anyway

it was probably just done clearing by the time you typed it in

Yes, I clicked Clear all and it was taking a long time, I just typed /brickcount and they were all gone. I then loaded up a save that started with CTF and also loaded up Building 6. I did the same thing as before and they were instantly gone.

Maybe it was just a coincidence, although its strange because I did it several times and it worked, now it doesnt. Oh well, sadly I will lock.
