Author Topic: Help me?  (Read 3371 times)

I've made a window in constructor, but I was wondering how I could import it into retail? I need a transparent texture for the middle or something, but I can't figure out exactly what to do. If any body could help me, it would be great! Thank you. I cannot upload the files yet, but as soon as .dif files are allowed, I will. Thanks in advanced!

Sorry for the double post, but is any body planning on helping me? If you can't create a brick in constructor and import it into blockland, just tell me and I will drop the topic.

I don't think this is possible.
Constructor is made for mapping, I may be wrong though.
I also don't think it is wise to be creating special bricks at this time.

Bricks are made with either BLS files (Basically a text file specifiying dimensions and can only be rectangular) or DTS shapes for special bricks (Like prints, ramps, trees, spawns ect).

Interiors are only really for non-moving, generally simple buildings or structures.

You call the Kitchen & Bedroom interiors simple?

I know that dif files are interiors, but is there any way I can get a DTS Exporter for contructor? It's the simplest 3D Modeling program I could find, so I would appreciate it if anybody had some sorta way to export DTS files I would greatly appreciate it.

Bedroom sort of is, Kitchen isn't simple at all.
Anyone know what program Badspot used to make those? I've been told it's Quark.

I just found out about map2dts, and I was wondering where I could download it.

No need for maptodiff exporter.

Constructor has a built in exporter that works fine. Use the legacy diff one.
