Use Super. It's free and can convert basically everything.

The major problem is that ogg is data and midi is just a sequence that allows each program to generate the music as it plays.

The best way to convert from midi is to play it and record it. That's how most programs do it anyways.

You can't convert MIDI, you need a program that can "render" it. Try using OpenMPT
