I'm back but I don't know if I will be hosting.

I would recommend the abandoned city of Pripyat next to Chernobyl for a build.

I acutely have been thinking about building something related to it, but for a TDM.

STORY so this all makes more sense.
Seeing how powerful the explosion was, a company under the name Vytru-Vistra tried rebuilding the mechanism into their own nuclear weapons for war. Nobody offered to work, thus resulting them to brainwash innocent people to work for them. The workers hauled many boxes into the facility to store all of the nuclear containers.
The plan was to harvest the remaining liquids and take them for future plans. The company suddenly disappeared with blood traces all around Chernobyl.
Some people reported workers walking around like zombies, sleeping in the facility. Boxes and nuclear containers mysteriously appeared inside.

Just a quick write up. The rest of the detailed stuff is mentioned in the build. Perhaps you can point out these "holes"?

Well if you want to use actual events and people, then you could make the story involve the men that check up on the bottom areas of the containment building. They deal with making sure they know where the melted fuel is, and that the containment is correctly positioned and not falling apart. You could also use the story of the first scientists to enter the lower chambers of the reactor building, in which they discovered a huge amount of water beneath the reactor that could have lead to a thermonuclear explosion if contacted with the nuclear fuel. I would recommend making it about them trying to survey the reactor area for the first time.

If you want it to be some years after the accident, then I would have some black market nuclear fuel for weapons kind of storyline. Somewhat like what zakhaev was doing at Chernobyl in CoD4.

Well the idea of some hidden company harvesting the aftermath and possibly recreating the reactor for an end-world weapon seems rather fine.

1. If anyone entered the facility (Depending on the levels of radiation around the site) for more than 10-20 min, they would get radiation poisoning which would kill them within the next few hours/days.

2. The only liquids that are used in the reactor is water for cooling, the nuclear elements used were Uranium, and Boron rods, tipped with lead.

3. The explosion was not incredibly powerful, but powerful enough to blow a hole in the building. As explosions from atomic/hydrogen bombs are much larger. Also, the only real threat from the disaster was the release of the Uranium and Boron into the atmosphere.

Also as a side note: The facility continued to run until 2000, as the three other reactors still continued to function accordingly (with workers taking the appropriate precautions to protect themselves from the radiation).

I'm fully aware of radiation poisoning. Probably should be just a new medicine thing that prevents that.
Pollution of the atmosphere can result in end-world weaponry, right?
We basically just tossed out ideas. Originally the build was to be a space station but uh...

Well, there are radiation handicapant suits, So they could have used that.

It appears you want to have some end world thing with the reactor. This is actually somewhat possible to happen in real life, but unlikely. The current containment is falling a part and has to be replaced. If it were to fall, Radioactive dust would go across Europe. I would recommend a story where they are trying to destroy the sarcophagus manually instead of the erosion taking place. You could also exaggerate it and not have it just be Europe/Asia, but the rest of the world.

Radiation should not be a big deal with the storyline in terms of loops. Many people currently go into the bottom areas of the containment and anywhere else you are having as maps. They do get extremely high amounts of radiation poisoning, but it will not kill them for months or even years as long as they dont spend days at a time in the area. Radiation is not even that bad in The Zone, its just not livable.
