Lets watch Paranoia Agent

Paranoia Agent is an anime centered around insanity. Every episode has some involvement of Lil' Slugger, a boy in a red cap and gold skates carrying a bend gold painted baseball bat, which he uses to attack each person. He becomes legend amongst the people, as no one can prove nor disprove his existence, but he always seems to appear at the peak of a person's insanity. Below is the first episode:

I love how in this episode, the guy is using a public computer to look up Maromi (cartoon character by the main character), and then is pestered by children who say he promised. He leaves as research starts loading on the screen with the children going wide eyes. Love the inverse.

You will need to find the show, yourself. In the version I saw, the scene cut off and I thought that was just how it was. Turns out, real nudity. Sad, but can't link to that here.

Basically, the series is about of different people who descend into madness. Two common themes are Maromi, the pink cartoon dog which the central character created, and Lil' Slugger, a boy who appears on roller skates and wields a bent metal baseball bat. How this all intertwines is... strange. I used to watch this all the time.
