Author Topic: Oh, right back at you, Mother Nature!  (Read 543 times)

So, it's about 10:15 PM in sunny.. wait, did I say sunny? I meant rainy, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I'm thinking. Why, Mother Nature? Are you PMSing because it's summer over here and you haven't met your daily quota of rain so you're bringing it down in a torrential downpour in the middle of the night?

NOAA just put out a severe thunderstorm advisory for Broward County until 10:45, and already I've seen a Publix grocery bag, a seltzer bottle, a piece of wood, some hail, and a palm frond pass by my window.

I forgot to mention the wind. The wind sucks ass, by the way. I've had a bird hit my window the other day in the middle of a daytime storm.

Long story short, I hate summer because of Mother Nature being on her period.

nature's just watching a really sad movie while eating a plate of burritos, don't worry

Personally, I've always enjoyed rain and even storms. The wind is annoying, but other than that I've always felt a sense of euphoria from it.

Rain is cool imo.
but i only see it once every few months so..

If it's a light drizzle, I'm okay with it.

Not this. This is not okay.

Really?

I just looked out my window. There is hail EVERYWHERE.

Hail is cool too,
not when its denting my car though.

Beautiful day here in nevada

i don't get why people make topics about weather
there's been plenty of severe weather here but i don't post on a forum because i'm too busy watching it while i'm being fascinated

That's funny, I'm in Ft. Liquourdale too.

gosh i love storms at night
they're so relaxing until trees start snapping in half
then it's just "oh god why"
