Author Topic: How do I get this to work in Sony Vegas?  (Read 1421 times)

Well, i was looking at this tutorial on youtube on how to use greenscreen effects in minecraft (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC2wMvKBHoo&)

But when I get to this stage (6:57 in video)

It doesent work for me, any help?

Tutorials never work after a certain point. Your BG is black not green.

As it says in the video, he edits it out to be green, same as what i have done

Well the chromakey needs to be black. But considering some of your person is black, it's going to erase that too. The background should have been green. I don't understand why you would have to edit the black background to be green and then chromakey.

Could we get a screenshot of your chroma key settings?

No. If you want the green backdrop to be gone, you use chroma key and then select green. Then it should be gone. (sorry I didn't really watch the video until now)

it's not the tutorials fault.

wish MY mom would buy me expensive software

The effect you're looking for is chroma or chroma keyer.

The best way to learn how to use it is just experiment.

You're going to have a lot of trouble with a black background, though.

It's a trial version, bro. Check the name of it at the top of the screen.
