These guys multicliented to make it look like the server had lots of players.

if it were actually just playercount spoofing the "players" would just be ai connections, if i remember correctly
they're just not knowing how to do it right. i'm really not sure what's so wrong about this though.. they just want more people.

doing it via the console is wrong but doing it by multiclienting is fine?

People will more easily witness the chunk of multiclients.

No, it's simply just changing a variable over and over so it posts to the master server.
