how do you charge a logitech wireless mouse?

my mouse recently died of battery and i do not know how to charge it

all the videos say "CLICK THE BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM AND SOMETHING POPS OUT AND REPLACE BATTERIES"

but when i click the button nothing happens :c

It also says it lasts for 5 months, and i've had this for like, 3 weeks.

are there screws or anything on the bottom of the mouse? the battery has to be there, a wireless mouse isn't powered on fairy dust.
