Author Topic: Minecraft Machinima Idea  (Read 1870 times)

If you know me, I have made video's on my Youtube Channel of projects I am working on. None of them ever happened, either due to lack of idea, plotline, or just me being a lazy ass forgettard. So, this idea right here may not happen.

So basically, there is a man (No name thought of yet.) who wakes up with blood and ash on him. His city had been destroyed along with his family due to a scientific catastrophe turning people into dangerous creatures (Creepers, Zombies, Skeletons, etc.). He tries to collect what has just happened to him, and considering that he doesn't have a house anymore, survives by gathering resources, finding shelter, and all that stuff.

While searching his surroundings, he discovers a man fishing on the shore. He acts hostile at first, because well, there are zombies and creatures roaming around, and thinks he is one of them as well. He makes friends with him and they go on a bunch of misadventures that I have not planned yet.

So basically that's it. Now I ask, can this possibly be good enough for a Minecraft series/Movie?
If you don't, then please explain why not. If it turns out to be positive, then I may consider actually filming this.

Minecraft machinima is overdone, I don't want to sound like a richard but you'd need some hardcore attention whoring to get it noticed out of thousanda of other minecraft videos.

I'll probably figure out a way to make it work. If not, I'll just post it here on the forums or something.

Bump once again. I need some opinions guys.

This would be cool if it was in Blockland. By my knowledge, you can't record Minecraft for stuff.

I think blockland as an alternative is a good idea; but to my knowledge Minecraft recording is easier, isn't it?

I'm saying Hardy's computer is bad and probably can't run Minecraft great, let alone run it with Fraps' ass on it.

Well my computer isn't really that bad. It may have the capabilitie to record minecraft, I don't know.

forget, my comp sucks. Well since I can't record Minecraft, it wouldn't be impossible to get some camera people to record while I direct.
