Some people have better things to do than spend $1000 on a Computer. This is just a cheap one until i can get a much better one.

It's not like it takes a lot of time to buy a product.  You spend maybe a few hours at most if you're knowledgeable in the field, then less than 15 minutes buying the product and waiting for it to ship, or buying it in a store.

He needs to save up. He bought a replacement for the time being, but he will end up having to save up more in the end, but if the new one has a problem with it he can use the new one he has now.
