Author Topic: Restore "all" modified system files to Windows 7 default  (Read 360 times)

Ok, heres the story.

I recently downloaded a 3rd party theme that was cool. I had it for about 2-3 days but now it's not really cool anymore. I'm more intent on downloading an all-transparent theme. But when I removed the previous theme, my icons that it configured in the installer remained the same. I go to the back-up station in the installer but it says 'No backup was found'. There is another option that is Restore "all" modified system files to default, but I don't know if it will remove my programs or not. Please tell me what it will do.

Use your install disc and do a system repair.

I don't have it at the moment. :/

sounds like the "restore all modified system files" should work just fine, it's not like formatting your harddrive or anything lol, just reverting changes it made.
