Free Movie Editing Software Needed [Resolved]

I'm trying to make some videos that have sound effects added in. I don't have the money required to buy Sony Vegas Pro and I'm not willing to pirate it either. I just need a movie editor that can add in sounds, cut stuff out, and merge clips together. Thank you! :D
