I was playing an old copy of v8 I stored on my harddrive. I think this is related to the fact that my old key was deactivated and the old version had that in it or something. I dunno, when I start it up it just says "validating key" forever. Pretty cool.

There is no connectivity with the master server with v8, so, its pretty much LAN or single player all the time, which by default makes your BL_ID 0.
