Why did the buying method change?

Pay with any major credit card - You do not need a Paypal Account

You do now, unless i missed something. My friend wants to get it but doesn't have paypal, and when i got it, at the bottom of the buy page was something like "Don't have a paypal, don't worry. Do some stuff here and you can get i anyway". That's gone now.

Paypal changed the site layout because they are bastards and now it's impossible to see the credit card link.  I guess they value paypal signups over me actually getting money.

Guess you need to make it extra clear on a page before the actual cart.
