First of all make an thumbs folder, then put your faces, resized to 256x256, in the folder. Then resize all your faces to 64x64 and put them in your thumbs folder. Then go to notepad and make a Note called Description.txt. The layout should look like this
Name: Soildaa's faces (or whatever it's name is)
Author: Soildaa
My faces
Then save to your decal folder.
When your done with that go and name the folder: Face_Soildaa
and then right click and turn it into a zip.
Actually it works without a zip but if you want to share it on the forum, zipping it is easy
More understandable version:
Making a decal or face with just seven easy steps.1. Make a .zip file called "Face_<YOUR ADD-ON NAME>.zip."
2. Make a folder called "thumbs" and put it inside the .zip file.
3. Make your decals or faces.
3b. Make sure that they're sized 256x256.
4. Copy and paste them into the .zip file.
5. Re-size the originals to 64x64.
6. Copy and paste the originals into the thumbs folder inside the .zip file.
7. Move the .zip file to your add-ons folder and enjoy.
Also, if you're going to upload the decals or faces to RTB:
1. Make two .txt files called "description.txt" and "namecheck.txt."
2. Make description.txt look like this:
Title: <YOUR ADD-ON NAME>
Author: <YOUR NAME>
<SHORT SUMMARY>3. Make namecheck.txt look like this:
Face_<YOUR ADD-ON NAME>4. Copy and paste description.txt and namecheck.txt into the .zip file.
5. Go to
http://forum.returntoblockland.com/ and upload the add-on.
The reason that you only add the description.txt and namecheck.txt if your uploading it to RTB is because if decals or faces have either of those two in it, it won't work. It only works with those if it's and official RTB add-on.
I'm not sure what RTB does to make it work with them.
