this has only happened a few times to me
usually it's a chat where there are 2 people talking at all and no one is saying anything interesting

thats what i do most of the time and i also get added to chats alot

Terrible logic right there.
You do realize that not only does the program make noises, but you're also distracting them from what they were doing? There is NO good reason to do it even if they can just leave.
