Computer Probs

Recently my mouse and keyboard have been going unresponsive every now and again. It happens randomly and when it does the only way to fix it is for me to restart my computer. I've tried switching the usb ports they are plugged into and the problem still occurs...

Im pretty sure it's not the keyboard or mouse themselves because they are both fairly brand new. Anyone know why this is happening?

Is it wireless.

has your computer been slowing down at all recently? freezing up time to time? if so it could be your motherboard.

ok maybe the mouse isnt brand new but it still should be working fine

im afraid of it being this seeing as how i just built this computer so i wouldnt think that would be the problem...
but from everything ive read it seems like it is...

try other keyboards and mouses if possible.

if your motherboard is less then 30 days old, then you probably have to RMA it and buy some thermal paste with the replacement.

no they are both wired
