Sony Vegas has been terrible lately

can somebody tell me why this is happening? i'm using the same project settings + render settings as before in all my other BL videos and its suddenly been happening

also the video was meant to show off shaders at max

Next time, Instead of Sony Vegas, Use windows media player for music.
Then turn sound off completely.

Sony Vegas is for editing, you just recorded a video of you walking around.. just use windows movie maker to add music.

The video is kind of flashing/twitching.

Also, I use Sony Vegas often. When I make a video, I add music through there, and once rendered, it doesn't give me much problem.

no, and it didn't do it while it was in the editing thing
it just did it after rendering

Sometimes this happens with videos done in FRAPS.  It just happens and I've only seen it happen with videos that are recorded from FRAPS, nothing else.

Yeah, I know.  It happens randomly and with no reason as far as I can tell.  Not sure how to fix it other than just dealing with it.
