Furdle, in general has always been an starfish. His sense of humor is everything from "I lynched a monday" to "I blew up a bus". He hasn't changed, nor will he change. He also tends to be insensitive to other's situations, take it from one of his previous admins.
Point is:
Furdle will be furdle. And by that, I mean one of the biggest starfishs on Blockland. Letting him get to you just makes him seem the bigger man. He's just overcompensating.
