Americans are very prideful, wow it is such a bad thing to celebrate Independence day and make a big deal about it.
Lol. forget YA AMERICAH!!!

The only argument brits or any other country has against us Americans is that we eat a lot or we are fattys.
Which, I am an American and I admit that I do eat a lot. But no, I am not fat.
good metabolism ftw

American Independance Day was huge. It's certainly something worth celebrating.

Britain was basically a superpower. And they beat them. That's huge.
Edit:While it is true that too many Americans, but not all, are absent-mindlessly over-patriotic, that's a problem in about any country that teaches kids like that.

imo it seems a bit over-celebrated

for the past few years, on july 4th, i never actually made the connection what 'holiday' it was until someone pointed it out, then i have that "...oh. so it is. huh." moment.

As far as I know, it's also a good excuse to be lighting fireworks as well. Otherwise you'd get the poe-leese called on you.
