The US Embassy in Egypt was attacked before 9/11
The Ambassador to LIBYA, a seperate nation, was killed, at a seperate location, in a seperate incident. *edit* by extremeists I should mention as well, as noted by such pictures below, its not like everyone who isnt us are mean or something, just those other people are louder :/ but same could be said for the fact that it was one guy from our nation that made the attackers take to thinking all of us supported it :/
These situations do have something in common though, and it has nothing to do with 9/11
Recently some douchebag has been promoting a video blasphemeying Islam, and showing it in the US. Annyoingly, this attacks stemmed from the backlash over this.
I will gather up some articles for you guys unless someone else wants to.

People got mad about the video, but thats now why they attacked our embassy. The Libyans dont walk around the street with RPGs and guns. Terrorists used the frustration over the video as an excuse to be terrorists, dont blame the Libyans as a whole.
