Author Topic: The Fighting Topic  (Read 5236 times)

I've been watching vids of fighting styles.  Seems like Aikido is useless against skilled fighters, but very useful on the street.

Also Drunken Boxing is the stuff.  It's so funny and interesting.  It uses distraction, confusion, and flexibility to be one of the more powerful arts.

The entire topic about "fighting" is vague, If there was a person with a knife trying to hurt you, you want him discharged as fast as possible. Pain or no pain, that person must be taken out with anything available, and that brings up an assortment of other possibilities. So really we need like 500 subtopics. lol. Fighting styles has a lot of controversy. I recommend learning and excelling at a group of different arts. because really you can take down a guy that's 4 feet taller than you in a matter of seconds if you know how. and ill shut up now

what are you even saying?  "discharged?"  dispatched maybe.  and regardless, we can't have 500 subtopics for each fighitng style.  As you said, people can hold interest in multiple styles, so one megathread makes sense.
