I've never had a need to use a proxy.

More than half the proxies are stuff. They don't hide you properly and actually releases your IP to sites.

I use software like HotSpot Shield. But I don't ever need it. I don't even know why I have it.

nVPN is better. But if you while thousands of IP addresses then HMA VPN is better, but 90% of those IP addresses are already banned from sites.

A VPN with logs is useless for anyone determened to actually find you, that software is crap.
