Author Topic: First time riding motorcycle today.  (Read 476 times)

My dad showed me how to ride the motorcycle today.
Its a 82' Honda 250 Custom. Its a little bike but perfect for beginners

Going to get my permit as soon as I turn 16 (November 14th)

I have a nice jacket and matching gloves and Im going to see if I could get my neighbor to paint the bike to match the gloves and jacket.

Anyways it went fairly smoothly besides the fact I drove off the road about a foot or two but no big deal.

Anyways my dad has a much larger bike 98' Honda Shadow 1100 but hes going to get a new bike soon.

Did you have fun?
Yea.

I live in the middle of no where so there arent a lot of cars and I live right on this straight-a-way so I got to get it up to about as fast as it can go safety haha

Your dad's back?

Cool.

i never understood why he bothered getting a motorcycle license when he never got a road legal bike

A. Don't have a name
or
B. Named after animals/other weird things.
Even the main roads stay empty a lot of the time so me and my cousin can just ride on the yellow line into town. (8 miles)

My dad has a Harley Davidson, its bad ass as can be.
He had 2 dirt bikes but sold them, 1 of them got wrecked by a drunk guy lol.

just dont drive it without proper gear, even if you're driving a dinky moped you can still crack your skull and dont buy a harley, thats really damn gay

also, 2 strokes are cooler B)

I have a 2008 Ninja 250. It's unfortunate I can't ride it for about 4? months each year. Stuck with the car during winter months.

My dad used to have a shadow, it's actually an extremely well made and good looking bike but people tend to mock or tease you for having one since most people are die-hard harley or custom chopper fans. My dad also had an XR600 which is a great trail bike and it's a beast too I remember it being massive. I was so young I dunno if it is really as big as I recall but I remember my dad being on his tippy toes when sitting on it and he was 6'1 so I know it's a big bike.

Whats gay about having a nice looking bike? Its not like he does it to piss everyone off with its loud engine.

That sucks man.

When I had a minibike years ago it was hell on wheels for anyone who rode it because it had the tendency to wreck whoever rode it, when I got rid of it to my friend he was riding it at his place and the thing wouldn't stop and it turned and almost hit me..
I also remember once the bike throttled itself and wrecked me into the ground.
Then there is that one kid who didn't really do anything to wreck it but it plowed him into the ground.
It wrecked my sister into the ground (or was it my dad? Well idk its been about 5 years)
It was evil!

because harleys are heavy ugly stuffs for men with small richards

That may be your opinion but I think they look good.
He didn't get it to show off he got it to have a good quality motorcycle, he had a different one before but I forgot what it was.

Also you should have seen how serious my dad was about taking care of the motorbike was. He would bring it inside the trailer when it would rain up until he got a shed lol.
