Actually, you really might want to consider a better power supply. Drawing over the rated output of a power supply can greatly shorten the PSU's life due to being overworked, as well as the life of other computer components as they starve for power when the PSU fails to supply the required power.

My build will at max be using 300w (estimated 243w)
I have an 80 plus certified 500w PSU
How isn't that good enough :(

Looks good to me imho lol
All I see on that page is estimates for your build, no comparisons of other builds.
And I can't find benchmark ratings for video cards on the site, only CPUs

get a 750W or 800W PSU.
Trust me, you'll need it.
