Makes sense to me. I like it.
No, I mean perspective wise it makes no sense. It looks like the point of observation is looking kind of down on the land mass, but then if that were the case there'd be no way you could see the horizon, and since you can see the horizon then the clouds shouldn't come all the way down to the horizon, and if it's a night sky then it makes no sense for there to be (center, a bit to the left) coming out of an opening in the clouds, the lake w/ the waterfall makes no sense in terms of perspective, and the whole landmass seems to be at a very, very strange angle. Plus I have no idea the scale of things since you've got buildings in the forgeround and the background that are roughly the same size, yet the threes next to them are two different sizes (the ones next to the church looking thing are huge but the ones by the clock tower and house are small, despite the buildings, church and house, are roughly the same size.
Plus the horizon isn't straight or level and there are several places that could've been clarifying in terms of perspective but are just really confusing. For example, the path in the bottom center, a bit right, I don't know if that goes right to the beach or if it goes down over a rise and then ends up at the beach. The dark grass gives the impression of aerial perspective making it look like it goes down over a rise, but following that rise to the right of the church it looks like the lake and the church are right next to eachother. This creates like a weird divide on the island. There's also a dock on the beach that appears to jut straight up into the air. The whole lighthouse seems to be leaning backwards, and the peninsula or whatever that it's sitting on appears to be inclined upwards.
