What is a good Modeling program for BL?

What would be a good modeling program for Blockland? I always wanted to make a model of a gun or a blade of some sort, but I can't find a modeling program...

It would be helpful if there was a person that does make add ons...

Blender isn't the easiest to learn, but it does offer more features when modeling.
It's very useful.

I personally use Autodesk 3DS Max to make models and Milkshape to animate.
