I had floppy disks in elementary school and I used to not be able to help pulling the little metal thing back and forth endlessly exposing the tape inside and always ended up breaking them.

I also recall a smaller thicker type of floppy that i can't recall the name of that we used to use that was newer than floppies. It might come to me later. And 2 seconds later I remember the zip disks.

When he says "stuff that makes you feel old" I think he is referring to stuff that was around when you were a kid not the oldest things you can think of. N64 was out before you were even born and by the time you were old enough to develop the motor skills to actually play video games PS2 and Xbox were already out.
