Author Topic: Scrolling Gui Console Command?  (Read 1070 times)

Can someone please give me the console command to make a scrolling gui pop up? Like one with lots of text that scrolls? All help is appreciated.

i think he wants to know how to make a gui have a scrolling element

if you want a way for the server to make a scrolling gui appear for the client, then none exists by default.  If you are talking completely client sided, it is not a simple console command.  You actually have to put together the gui you want before you can make it do stuff like appearing and disappearing.

If you have mission editor

F10

It will bring up the GUI editor

doesn't rtb do this?

yes rtb can do that but it's not default.
I'm pretty sure rtb lets people use its server control GUIs even if they don't have it, please correct me if I'm wrong. Why can't he do this in the same way with his GUIs?

Okay, you're wrong.

I actually remember hearing somewhere that the server can have its own GUIs, but they can only call client commands.
nevermind, I was thinking of this.
