He's not being selfish. He did the work. He wants compensation. What is the issue?
But, it's better without a reward, you'll feel better later, it's nice to help family without rewards.

OP, a lot of us in this topic have works till we couldn't move at all the next day for free. Do you see us complaining? No. When I work I either: A. Volunteer or B. Am told to do it.



I volunteer sometimes.

It's hard to get a job in Toledo, so you have to do everything to get money.

But, it's better without a reward, you'll feel better later, it's nice to help family without rewards.
I do work for my family with no reward all the time. I can say from experience that I like it when they pay me.

Besides, it doesn't matter whether you'd feel better or not. Elecro would have preferred monetary thanks.

Practice. I've done 3+ seasons of Cross Country too; 7 miles turns into a breeze (although recently its been making my shins hurt like hell).
