Tip: Iran is connected to 2 major bodies of water, including an ocean.
Depends where they are trying to go exactly.
If they want the Mediterranean they it totally makes sense. Getting through the Caspian sea would be a pain. So would be going through the Gulf of Oman/Persian Gulf unless they want the Indian Ocean

Last time I checked, "sea" would be generally any ocean.

the ONLY path is to go by oceans, ALL the way around.

iran cannot reach syria by foot or air. (without straight up war on NATO i guess)

So that's why he said it 10 times?

you claim a lot of stuff without backing it

well the mediterranean theory dosnt work either. as we are allied with turkey and iraq. they are both are very anti iran as is.
there is no "path" no matter where they go

Reading the first part it seems the relations between Syria, Iran and Iraq are fairly decent.

"Iran and Syria have maintained close ties since the early years of the Islamic Republic and Syria now serves as Iran’s key Arab ally and partner in the region."

"July 25, 2011: Iran, Iraq and Syria signed a $10 billion natural gas agreement. According to the agreement, the three countries will construct a pipeline running from Iran’s natural gas fields to Syria, and eventually to the Mediterranean, via Lebanon."

"August 13, 2011: The Iranian regime agreed to provide $23 million to construct a military base in Latakia, Syria following a June 2011 meeting in Tehran between Syrian deputy vice president Muhammad Nasif Kheirbek and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Qods Force commander Qassem Suleimani"

I fail to see how Mitt Romney is an idiot in this statement

GOP debate in Arizona, AIPAC meeting, MSNBC interview, Kilmeade & Friends (radio), WP interview

I found 5. Bad enough?

So he was referring to all bodies of water around Iran and not just the Mediterranean?

dosnt understand what an alliance is and what trade is

getting along =/= allies.
NATO is not iran friendly. and iraq/turkey/jordan are all NATO nations.
just because nations trade goods does not mean one can simply fly military overhead.

its is politically and legally impossible for iran to reach syria by anything but ships.

and yes mitt was referring to military (funny how you ignore the context you dont want to see) of course they fly commercial planes to and from iran.

Iraq is not a NATO nation

iraq answers to nato's needs. and has no choice lol

did you really think the US would invade a country then simply leave them to their own sovereignty?
we picked their new leaders for christ's sake lol.
the elections were of the 3 guys we built up.

an "ally" means we go all in if one if the allies are attacked.
but then why do 50 non nato nations more around the world play at the military whim of the US/nato anyways?
they are all under the boot. iraq and afghanistan were just recent additions to the tool countries.
