So wooh, didn't expect this to happen.

Anyways, news still says I'm in the easy phases of Sandy hurricane, but here's what's happened so far:

3:00AM - massive winds & rain

4:00AM - Dropped 6 degrees, massive wind and rain turning into snow

5:00AM - Massive Winds, Snow / rain

6:00AM - Power Outage still Snow and massive winds

6:17AM - Power comes back, wind died down but still snow

7:00AM - Winds get worse than before and snow gets heavier

8-9 AM - Winds stay roughly the same, maybe a little bit worse, Snow stays the same and its sticking

10:00AM - Extremely cold and reallllllllyyy windy and stuff

-

Worse storm I've been in for awhile.

My neighbors glass table came off there deck and shattered. it was new too.

haha.

I can't even begin to think of what will happen when it really is about ready to hit where I live.

:( preparing still

sad thing is that some friends that are coming over tomorrow might be stuck here for awhile if the storm gets worse by tomorrow

It didn't impact me too much, the rest of my state got it far worse, glad I'm inland and not near the coast. I lost power for 8 hours, that's about it for my 'damage'.

8 hours? wow

Well at least you won't freeze lol.

We have our pellet heater thing and our actual Propane fire thingy.

it's warm and cold, we just called and asked for more propane.

you guys arent the ones running in the storm and working to fix the power, so i dont see how you say that you have it bad

unless you lose your roof, that happened to me in florida

stuff sucks

Never implied I had it bad.

Try high winds in a condo high-rise building with 40 year old windows that constantly allow water to seep through.

Sandy only knocked down a small tree in my neighborhood and actually shook my house. Not like a bad earthquake, but it shook.

I live in central NY and was supposed to get hit hard. Ended up getting winds no faster than 15MPH and a few leaves blowing off trees. Oh we'll, still no classes for me today. c:
